Of course you’re nervous! Anything worth doing always comes with nerves, it is completely normal. Every single client we have photographed feels this exact same way. This is why we include posing assistance in every single one of our Portrait Sessions. We take the awkward feeling away by directing you down to your last eyelash if need be. It is our job as professionals to make you feel at ease and comfortable. You’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands or where to look.

The simple answer is yes, we ‘airbrush’! When you see your images, directly after your session most of those images will be EDITED and some will be RETOUCHED. Edited images are corrected for color and exposure, sometimes in an artistic way. An image may be presented in black and white a pop of color or vintage toned. A fully RETOUCHED image is one that is ready for print and includes removal of blemishes, softening of skin (airbrushing) and clean up of what I like to call wardrobe malfunctions if needed. We do lighten or remove stretch marks and booty dimples if requested from the client. The level of retouching will be discussed while you view your images.

Of course we do! Sexy has nothing to do with size! We photograph women of all shapes, sizes and ages! The comment we hear the most is….. OOH I need to lose a few pounds, then I’ll have a session….Yikes. This absolutely breaks our hearts. While we are all for you wanting to feel your best during a session we don’t feel weight has anything to do with beauty or being sexy. Remember, we are professionals, we use lighting and posing to highlight your favorite assets, and minimize those you are truly concerned about.

While we do travel and will occasionally rent an awesome airbnb, 90% of our boudoir sessions are done in our brick and mortar studio located in downtown Howell, Michigan. We firmly believe shooting in our studio allows us to give the best experience for you, our client! It allows us to have access to all of our equipment and props creating the WOW images that you love so much! We find our clients just don’t relax as much if we photograph them in a hotel. Plus our historic building in downtown Howell is simply gorgeous!

Christy has over 10 years of experience in the photography industry with a concentration on boudoir. Her carefree attitude immediately sets clients at ease. People seem to think of boudoir sessions as this serious affair, but in reality they are FUN! It’s like a girls night out where your ribs hurt the next day because you’ve laughed so much. Our photo shoots are filled with laughter and silliness, while we get the shots of you looking absolutely like the Vixen you are!
